Background

The motivation for Trans4rm came from my experience in working in the corporate world for over 20 years.

I have a background as a Project Director in in Global Corporations and I am a Professional Coach who has sold, implemented change and delivered solutions for the Public Sector, Financial Services and Telco markets. Implemented projects aligned to Prince2 and RUP methodologies. Winner of the Gold Award for Electronic Trading in the Guardian MCA Awards 2004 (Highlighting Best Practice in Management Consultancy) for delivery of e-Voting for local elections. Winner of Unisys Gold Award for delivery of the same programme.

Experience is supported by a degree in Mathematics, MBA in Project Management and a Certificate in Coaching which is accredited by the International Coaching Fed-eration (ICF).

I believe that there are many unnecessary stresses and strains put on people working in this environment that distract them from giving their best and reduces their performance. Corporations employ some of the best minds that should be nurtured in an environment that supports excellence.

Good leadership and decision making throughout the project organisation hierarchy can make a huge different to productivity and the bottom line. Awareness of cause and effect is important.

Building an environment that allows innovation and creativity can bring about that one decision that can make a difference in a difficult marketplace.

I enjoy working with people and teams to capitalise on their strengths.

I enjoy working with projects, facilitating teams to focus on achieving positive business benefit.

Having worked as part of project teams in my early working life, gaining accreditation with the APM and Prince2 certification and studying an MBA in Project Management I am still continually learning. My most recent research has been around the effects of coaching on the individual and on teams and relating these to project activities.

Many organisation are implementing project methodologies, pulling in project managers with more and more certification and still finding that their projects.
