Community : Freedom to be yourself comes from being authentic...#ecademyschool

It's interesting, this life thing. We almost have to live it in reverse. If we knew what we knew now, after all those life lessons, whether frustrating, painful, joyful or just downright depressing, then wouldn't we be so much more advanced in achieving our goals, aspirations and dreams? Sure, we probably would. But we would of totally missed the point. Everything that has happened to us had to happen to us. I really believe this, and I find many of my clients take this often new (to them) philosophy on board to create massive change and new awareness in their lives. This often happens when they have been suffering great pain and frustration in their lives...whether it's being emotionally blocked, broke, unhappy in their relationships or career, overweight and a myriad of other things to boot.
It's quite often true that we have to reach rock bottom before we make those pivotal shifts in our lives. In essence, every time we reach and discover a new level of awareness we become more authentic, more in touch with who we really are. Most of our lives, (and I know this applied to me for many years) are lived under the clouds of various illusions. When we identify, often with the help of a skilled therapist or great teacher, an illusion which is blocking us we have opened the door to creating a new opportunity and new reality for ourselves. And as one my great teachers taught me...wisdom erases karma. Meaning we never have to go back to those old illusions which have been causing us to live a life below where we want to be.

An illusion gone is a new freedom gained...kind of makes you think, eh?
