Community : Video: 14 BlackStars tell it like it really is

Five weeks ago, my three year anniversary on Ecademy (and BlackStar) came and went.  In the lead up to my "birthday", I had great intentions of writing a post on the day, but to be honest I just got too busy.

So here I am, over the calm of the Christmas break, looking back on the past three years.  Last year, I wrote a Ecademy report card.  This year, I decided to take a less "me" focussed approach, and also to zero in on BlackStar. But hopefully it will be just as personal, and just as revealing.

As part of another project I am working on, I interviewed over a dozen fellow BlackStars on film.  Early next year, I'll be blogging about each of them and sharing a short video about each of them where they talk about their business and what makes them tick.  My final question during the interview was to ask them each what BlackStar had done for them (in any way).  What follows is their "unscripted, unedited, not previously discussed or planned" response.  My hope is that anyone with questions about the value of BlackStar, or considering becoming a BlackStar, might find this useful material to help them make a decision.
