Just a bit of Photoshop work to give my friends a laugh.

If the Greeks cannot pay their debts then they had better sell off some of thier assets. Well London has the Elgin Marbles already and they owe the City £14bn I believe - so why not go for the whole thing now and put the Acropolis (or should I say the Parthenon) in Hyde Park. It will be well situated near to the the mother of parliaments to remind us all where democracy started.

I'm sure we can get the deal - it's a precondition to a bail-out. We just have to get things moving. Boris Johnson - you are tasked to have it all complete and over here in time for the 2012 Olympics.

what a Greek Tragedy Daniel. How does a country get into such a mess. But better question still - how the heck will they get out of it? ann

The young people of Greece and Spain could reasonably be described as being on the brink of a revolution. In Spain where 43.5% of young people are without work, they want a new deal. The media is too scared to report it, lest it escalate further and overturn the current order.

Yesterday when Harold Forbes brought to our attention the impact the current economic paradigm is having on our planet, the response by and large was lukewarm.

Preaching doesn't go down well with Ecademy, at least not unless Ecademy itself is preaching on social networking.

It isn't happening to us, so it can be considered some kind of entertainment.

I'm reminded of an incident last week where I came across a young man with his hands around the throat of an older woman. I intervened as did a nearby bus driver. Many would perhaps have been scared to do so, but what really got to me were those standing not far way, treating the incident as some kind of spectator sport.

Let us console ourselves. Somebody else will do something.
